Kevin E Stout and Reverend Kenneth GArbuckle co-authored "Narrow Road Life Lessons for All Shades of Jesus". The central focus for the book is found in Matthew 7: 13-14, which presents a dichotomy of two pathways: the narrow road leading to eternal life with Jesus and the broad road leading to destruction and eternal separation from God. The book is loaded with scripture references throughout which expound on this dichotomy.
The message of salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior is boldly proclaimed throughout the book. This foundation is built upon by exploring various aspects of Christian life including the importance of prayer, Bible study, memorizing scripture, stewardship, and understanding that we are all different shades of Jesus from light brown to dark brown. The consequences of not choosing the narrow road are clearly illustrated with scripture references. Lyrics from four of the seven songs on the "Color Me Jesus" album by Kevin Stout are included in the manuscript to enhance the messages. The authors also included some personal testimonies within the manuscript.

I really enjoyed the chapter on prayer and often thinkabout the passage that says "Every time you lift someone up in prayer by name, the Lord touches their heart... immediately."

You said to give you a mini review after each chapter... I would love to share with you my favorite part of chapter 1! I discussed this with Marvin last night, as I never really thought about it the way that you presented it! As I was growing up, there were very few things that upset my dad, as he is a fun and peaceful man. Deception and lying was something that angered him so deep...l learned early on how tricky deception can be and how it only leads to destruction ~ I am thankful for my dad teaching me this truth early on!
I never really looked at it as Satan's only tool, but you are right and it is powerful! Thank you for this great book.
